In Memory of Dr. Michael Jones.

It is with profound sadness that we mourn the death of Dr. Michael "Mike" Edwin Jones, 54, of Naperville, Illinois. Michael was lost on Saturday, September 5, 2026, in a technical deep water scuba diving accident on Lake Michigan. His body was recovered by Bruce’s Legacy.

Mike will be deeply missed by his family, his colleagues, his patients, and the countless friends he made throughout his life. Michael’s family has chosen to keep services private and will be celebrating his life at various venues so his loved ones may share memories. The information for these is forthcoming.

Memorial donations may be made to one of the many causes important to Mike and his family: Bruce’s Legacy (a volunteer search and recovery dive team instrumental in bringing Michael home), A.D.O.P.T. Pet Rescue Naperville and Operation Smile (providing craniofacial reconstructive surgery for children in need).
